Other Bits For Now

• There is A LOT to do with simulating neurons. This is just a quick introduction.
• We simulate with time steps.
• A lot of the text is about continously changing systems. That's actually the way it is.
• Synapses are complex.
• Chemical synapses are unidirectional. There is a pre-synaptic neuron and a post-synaptic neuron.
• Synapses can be both excitatory (adding activation) and inhibitory (subtracting activation).
