Conclusion to Introduction and Simple Point Neuron Models

• A reasonable, but very simple model, of a neurons is the leaky integrate and fire neuron model.
• Adaptation makes it a bit more accurate (for most neurons), and it kind of works without leak.
• Reading for this week is Trappenberg Chapter 1 and Chapter 3.1 (but not 3.1.5)
• This week's reading has a couple of other models, and doesn't really talk about leak or adaptation.
• Reading for next week is Trappenberg 3.1.5.
