• We're in the midst of a rapid growth in mobile robots.
• There is a lot of development in drones, flying robots.
• There is a lot in the military, but they've also entered the commercial realm.
• They're looking at traffic patterns, supporting search and rescue, and they might even start delivering mail.
• These often have radio control, but they need some support in case they lose contact with the radio.
• There are also robotic cars. These have been used for a while, but now they're starting to drive on the streets with us.
• Think how this might change the way we live.
• Imagine travelling in a convoy of robotic cars (more fuel efficient).
