Topology
- The topology of the simulation is based on two subnets: the
cochlea and the auditory cortex.
- The simulated cochlea does pretty much what the biological cochlea
does.
- The simulated auditory cortex produces a similar result to the
biological A1.
- The intermediate stages are missing
- There are distance biased internal connections inside the simulated
A1. It's 30% inhibitory neurons.
- There are connections from the cochlea to the A1.
- There are 400 neurons in the cochlea, and 600 in A1. This is
really a lot less than the biological versions.
- Three Cell Assemblies in A1 are set before the experiment.
