Counting
- The full counting system has three new subnets, binding, finish, and reset.
-
- Finish and binding were just explained.
- The connections in reset are set to turn off the Done network and ignite
the internal + and 1 CAs.
- Without finish and bind, this would lead to a system that counted
up to 12 (there are only 12 internal numbers).
- However, with finish and bind, when the stop CA is reached the
system stops.
- So, in full, the system is presented with the stop node.
- It then starts counting at the start node.
- The first rule is applied and counting begins.
- Reset causes the next rule to be applied and this continues,
- until the final node ignites.
- This ignites the binding node, which ignites the finish node, which
stops the process.
