- Build a Virtual Robot
- A simple virtual robot (perhaps in a video game)
- It will have input, motor, and simple planning and
goal modules.
- This simplifies the input and motor modules (over the real
world).
- It enables us to explore the individual modules and their
combination.
- The virtual robot could be used to explore further
systems.
- Build a Real Robot
- A simple robot that can merely move about and
avoid things.
- Then advance to some goal driven architecture, like
the virtual robot.
- It is likely that this will lag well behind the other
two tracks.
