Collaboration and Competition
- We have a reasonable group assembled and can probably progress
on our own.
- However, there are a host of tasks that others could help
us on.
- For instance, we could use some real robotics expertise.
- Of course, some of the theoretical problems (e.g. variable
binding) could be solved externally.
- We have a modular approach so others could submit modules including
competing modules to do the same task (e.g. vision).
- Eventually, we could build systems with different combinations
of modules to test advantages of each.
- Of course, different underlying neural models could be explored.
- We're interested in collaboration and competition.
- We don't think we have all the answers, but we do think
- the bottom up approach is the correct way to develop a
brain architecture.
