Waves

• I think there is a lot of research in brain waves.
• Neurons fire in groups; this is what you get with EEG signals.
• There are different frequencies of waves (e.g. theta, alpha, gamma, and delta).
• These waves seem to be involved in cognition.
• Note how this fits in with the balanced networks from the last lecture. It really is quite different from my binary CA approach.
• I think there are a lot of hypotheses about this, but I don't think there's lots of agreement.
