Natural Language Processing

• There is a lot to do with NLP.
• There is machine translation and speech recognition.
• There is NLP for data mining.
• We've been doing it for a while, and it's really the only activity that only people have mastered. This makes it hard to understand.
• Computational linguists often break processing into lexical, syntactic and semantic.
• Other applications include Chatbots, text extraction and automatic summarisation.
