Conclusion of Lecture 15
- We knew about translational motion.
- You need calculus to handle it in general, but time slicing
is effective.
- Rotational motion is really just a modification of translational
motion. There are no new laws.
- Objects often do both types, and breaking them apart can
simplify the problem.
- The reading for this week was Palmer Chpter 4.
- The reading for next week is open, James Allen's NLU is a good
start.
