Down sides
- Scripts have a few problems.
- They can be slow.
- They tend to be rather small. This means they don't have the
support that larger languages have.
(IDE, manuals, books, libraries, etc.)
- There are another set of resources that may seem less obvious,
compilers, support on different platforms, and support for
handshaking with other languages.
- It also means that there aren't experts around to help you.
- However, some scripting languages are pretty popular.
