Conclusion of Lecture 14

• In the end, language choice is a bit like religion (or PC vs. Apple). You like what you like.
• You also get better at a particular language the more you use it.
• However, you also get better at picking up new languages the more you pick up languages.
• I had a student doing a thesis in PHP. I've never written a line of PHP, but helped him debug his code.
• Scripts can be nice mechanisms for adding game content.
• The reading for this week was Buckland Chpt. 6.
• The reading for next week is Palmer Chpter 4.
