Chris Huyck
The lecturer
- I got my PhD from the U of Michigan in 1994.
- I'm Middlesex's Professor in AI. I know a lot about AI.
- My phone number is 8411-5412, but I'd rather be contacted by email.
- My office hours are Thursday from 10:00-12:00 in my office
T127. Please do come. I can arrange
to see you at other times.
- I've been lecturing here at Middlesex for 16 years, 2 years at
AUC before, and taught for several years while in graduate school.
- I developed Visual Basic at Microsoft, so I really can program.
- I have done a bit of games programming (see next page), but
have never made a living at it.
- I've taught introductory programming, alogrithms, knowledge based systems
for AI, data structures, compilers, computational theory, 3D graphics,
AI, graduate AI, NLP, and a lot more.
- I've never taken a Physics course, but know Maths and have taken
Chemistry.
- If you're interested in me supervsing your BSc thesis, I'm happy
to discuss that.
- One benefit of this class for me is that I learn more about games.
- Anoter benefit is that I can get some games development done (by you and
me) for my research.
