The Brain's Capacity
- We've done a lot of modelling with orthogonal CAs, but
biophysically CAs overlap.
- I did some work with Richard Bowles some time ago about
how many CAs a network could hold.
- Assume nneurons, with each neuron having an upper bound
on synapses, and each synapse having an upper bound on
bits
- There can be O(n) CAs.
- They can overlap or not, but you can't get more than that many
stable (or pseudo-stable) states.
