Applications of CAs
- We have been working on these models for a few years now,
and have had several successes.
- Dealt with ambiguous stimuli,
- handled overlapping categories,
- handled hierarchies of categories,
- handled the congressional voting problem (from the Cal Irvine
categorisation DB)
- handled information retrieval
- Still, it's obviously a long way to something that could
pass the Turing test.
