Hot Coffee Associative Memory
- So we used our Neuromorphic Embodied
Agents that Learn (NEAL) framework, with
binary Cell Assemblies.
- We put the full topology together, including a coffee and a coke
temperature net to get an associative memory.
-
- The boxes are big nets with coffee and coke temp being WTA nets.
- The ovals are 10 neuron binary cell assemblies.
- If you set up the connections right, if you turn two conecepts
on, like cold and coke, the third comes on correctly, in this case
a range of temperatures around 5.
- It also worked if you put, say 35 degree and coffee on, returning
warm.
- Note that the input net has no internal connections, and inhibition
prevents a spread to all the concepts.
