What is AI? The Turing Test

There's not a universally agreed definition of AI.
One good answer is some computer system that helps us pass the Turing Test.
Turing came up with the test in 1950. A version of it is..
Put a person in one room, a computer in another, and a human judge in a third.
The judge can communicate with both the others via text.
If the judge can't tell which is human, the computer is an AI.
The Loebner Prize is a roughly year test for this.
No system has come even close.
