for computers.
- You could certainly say that Robotics, computer vision, and chatbots
are all AI.
- ChatGPT certainly is.
- Videogame agents (like the MarioKart guy you race) are really
simple. They're called AI. Are they?
- Google (and other systems for ) search.
- Machine Learning is big recently, and useful.
- Models of complex systems (like weather prediction) can
be thought of as AI.
- Definitions may not be particularly useful, and it is certainly
the case that AI is hyped. There's nothing like an AI Champion.
- (It has been hyped before with automated translation in the 60s and the
AI winter.)
