Write and Submit Grants
- I know it sounds obvious, but you're not going to get a grant
unless you write one.
- Similarly, you're not going to get a grant if you don't submit
it (on time).
- Take the time to write it correctly.
- If I'm reviewing grants with grammatical or factual errors, I'm saying
no.
- Look for calls, but there are also open calls.
- If you can't get a big grant, get a small one.
- If you have time, write another (but see Run
the Grant).
- Write grants with other people.
- MDX vs Cambridge.
- You can write grants to explore research that really interests you,
but there are also grants that are posted to do particular work.
- Write with someone else at MDX (fast walking robots).
