- I thought, and proposed, that the best way to get to real AI was
by following the human model both psychologically and neurally.
- So, I started to do soemthing about it.
- On the way, I got an EPSRC grant to build a video game agent that
did some natural language processing.
- The agent did all its processing in simulated neurons.
- We made three, CABot1, CABot2 and CABot3, one for each
year of the project.
- One thing we learned from the CABot project was that anything
that can be programmed, can be programmed in neurons.
- So Excel could be written in neurons.
- That means that CABot3 does not necessarily work like a person does.
