Our Existing CANT simulator
- Our existing simulator can be found at
http://www.cwa.mdx.ac.uk/cant20/CANT20.html
- It's based on discrete time cycles that can be considered
equivalent to 10 ms.
- Neurons are fatiguing leaky integrators.
- It obeys Dales Law.
- Topology is usually a loosely connected torus.
- We keep the model as simple as possible unless
we find a reason to make it more sophisticated.
- It has been used to develop hierarchical categories,
overlapping CAs, ambiguity and other CA experiments.
- It has been used in real world applications as a
categorisation system, and as an Information Retrieval
system.
- It can't currently reasonably solve the mule problem.
