CAs for Grammar Rules
- Grammar rules are also categories (with process).
- Traditionally, a grammar rule is merely a transformation
from one or more syntactic categories to a new
category.
- E.G. NP -> Determiner Noun
- The CA for a grammar rule ignites if the right hand side is
present.
- As with words, the rule CA can be learned from many
presentations of instances of the rule.
- (I'll ignore the part of speech
analysis for now; again it is categorisation.)
