Presentation Software

• The standard presentation software is powerpoint.
• Some people use pdf (from latex and other software).
• I (rather uniquely) use html.
• Bring back up copies in different formats on different devices.
• You can spend a lot of time developing a talk, and developing the presentation content.
• This is usually time well spent.
• You learn a lot about your material preparing a talk.
• You also get good at giving the talk while developing it.
• Make sure you check your presentation will run on the machines your presenting on, both computer and projector.
