Combining Methods

• Cresswell talks about separate methods.
• So, there are qualitative methods like case studies and grounded theory,
• and quantitative methods (that aren't really broken down into subcategories).
• A mixed method combines elements of both.
• Note that this assumes that you do one then another.
• It's not an issue of creating a new method that is a hybrid of a qualitative and a quantitative method.
• The question is how to combine these methods.
