• Chatbots are conversational agents.
• A human level chatbot would pass the Turing test and have good claims at being intelligent.
• Good simple chatbots can be developed.
• More complex chatbots become progressively more difficult.
• The reading for this week was the the Wiki and look at James Allen's Natural Language Understanding. The Eliza Wiki is also relevant.
• The reading for next week is Buckland Chpt. 4.
• You might also want to check out chatbots.org for some real working chatbots.
• Also there is a lot of math in the world. You can figure it out when you need it, but it does help to know it.
