TacAir Soar

• Unlike ACT, Soar has gotten most of its use from AI simulations.
• That is, it's not trying to model particular data, but do cool AI.
• One of the big projects was TacAir Soar.
• It's a simulator for real aircraft.
• The idea is that you can't really afford to have a real air force battle now days, and you'd like to prepare.
• So, can you build an agent (in Soar) for the pilots, and have real pilots fight them.
• This isn't one to one combat, but 100s of pilots and agents.
