Rotational Motion
- Rotational motion is about spinning things.
- If you take a wheel, and model it as a 2D object, it is
spinning about a point (the axle).
- Put a mark on the wheel, and the position of that mark changes
as the wheel spins.
- Angular velocity is the rate it is spinning at (rads/s).
- Angular acceleration is the rate the velocity is changing (rads/s^2).
- You can measure these things in radians and degrees.
- We've had some experience with this in spacewars. However,
we just set the velocity magically.
- How could we use this to improve spacewars?
