Learning
- Before the CABots, I was working on CA learning.
- I then spent a lot of time getting the CABots working.
- I didn't do much on learning in the CABots, so they don't learn
much.
- Kailash Nadh has been working on associative memory, but I think
learning is really where it's at.
- Part of that is in the cognitive mapping.
- We also did some reinforcement learning in CABot2 (the verb learning
bit).
- Why are neural nets cool? They learn.
- However, this stuff is so far away from what a human (or a mouse)
is capable of.
- There's clearly stuff going on with brain areas, laminar architecture
and recurrent connections, but I don't have a good handle on it.
