Sour Grapes: NEAL and Agents

I had hoped that the HBP would actually develop a lot of agents, and worked toward that.
I think that's a really good way to start understanding neuro-cognition.
Unfortunately, they didn't seem to want to go this way and Alberto and I were out of SGA3.
I also put together a big proposal with agents and language learning with Friedemann Pulvermuller, but they didn't fund that.
So, I'm a bit bitter about the HBP thing.
I spent a lot of time doing plumbing that never really got used.
None the less, it's all there, and it's pretty easy to use.
I think building agents is a good way forward.
I'm particularly interested in neurocognitive models with agents.
