The Neurons in My Model
- We use fatiguing leaky integrators as our neurons.
- They integrate activity and fire if they surpass a threshold.
- If they fire they lose all the activity, if not some leaks away.
- If they fire frequently, they fatigue and become more difficult
to fire.
- Fatigue is reduced when they don't fire.
- Simulation goes in discrete (10 ms.) time steps. This
is largely for simulation efficiency.
- Synaptic weights change by Hebbian learning rules.
