What is AI?
- There's really not a very good definition of AI, and besides
AI shows us that most definitions tend to break down.
- It has something to do with intelligent algorithms and
data structures.
- It also has something to do with trying to do things the way
that people do things.
- It probably has something to do with the Turing test.
- More recently (in the last 20 years), it has had a lot to
do with machine learning.
- Practically, to do good AI, you need to be able to write
programs, and have some imagination.
