A Physical Agent
- We've done virtual agents before, but we're pretty confident
that a physical robot is going to be a lot harder.
- We're hoping that the vision work we've already done, and
the higher order work (e.g. planning) should give us a
reasonable start.
- We'll need to pick a platform. More human like leads to the
advantage of being guided by human solutions (e.g. motor cortex).
- We'll then have to pick a task.
- Then we'll need controllers,
- sensors,
- and the rest.
- One advantage of a physical robot is a real environment.
- Another is a(nother) real application.
