Developmental Computational Neuropsychology

A brain has developed and grown in a body.
Neurons and synapses grow while the fetus is developing.
It's pretty clear that this growth is affected by genetics, but it's also affected by the environment.
Once the baby is born, it is really affected by environment. (Hubel and Wiesel)
There is a big neural pruning at about 3 months.
Brains continue to grow, partially in response to the environement.
So, the real problem is a developmental-neuro-psychology one.
It's really hard understand this because it takes so long, and it's really difficult to reproduce it.
Imagine genetically identical mice. How hard is it to raise them identically.
