Associative Memory

CAs account for single memories, but human memory is associative.
Kailash Nadh is working on associative memory, and we put one type of this into CABot3.
This was spatial map learning.
The environment was four rooms connected by corridors.
In each room was a unique patterned shape.
If the agent was told to explore, it would move through all four rooms and associate each with its shape.
If it was then asked to go to (e.g.) the room before the striped pyramid, it would use its map to go the appropriate room.
Kailash has worked on some other associative memory tasks.
