Dale's Principle
Dale's Principle states that synapses leaving a neuron are either all inhibitory
or all excitatory.
Can we generate a net like this that exhibits CA like behaviour?
- Sure just make one neuron do all the inhibition.
-
- Keep a similar structure but also group by 4 rows. One of the
4 neurons does all the inhibition, and one of the excitatory
neurons does the excitation for the inhibitory neuron.
- The point here is not that this is the way to build a CA, CAs should
be learned.
- However, it is a way to find CAs that do tasks that we are interested
in.
