Nonconscious Language Processing
- CAs exist in all portions of the brain.
- A CA may not be accessible by the systems of consciousness.
- For example, we do not have conscious access to grammar rule CAs.
If we did, we would not have discussions about what grammar we
have; we could just inspect our own system.
- CAs can (at least theoretically) be used to process language.
- So, this CA-based language processing model is
a nonconscious language processing model.
