Cell Assemblies

• Let me give a talk that goes with the paper.
• One basic theory that the paper hangs on is the Cell Assembly hypothesis.
• CAs are circuits of neurons that have high mutual synaptic strength.
• The neural basis of concepts is a CA.
• The fLIF neurons are a way of modelling neurons, and can be used to implement and learn CAs.
• The CA hypothesis is long standing (Hebb 1949) and has a lot of evidence to support it.
