Cognitive Map
- Cognitive Maps are similar to maps of cities.
- Landmarks are marked. Here landmarks are important
concepts.
- Connections between landmarks are marked.
- Cognitive Maps differ from maps of cities.
- They are not necessarily 2 dimensional.
- Relations between landmarks can be specified.
- Cognitive maps do not have to be filled in, and you
can always make more room (extra dimensions).
- The theory is that humans represent complex concepts
with cognitive maps.
