Modifying Result

• Once you've retrieved a similar case, you may want to modify it.
• This gives the system flexibility
• So, I have a case that I don't know the answer to
• I compare it to cases (that I do know the answer to) in the case base
• One case from the case base is retrieved along with its solution
• The retrieved solution can be slightly modified to fit the queried case
• In the Loan example, the amount of the loan may be changed
