- This programme is about improving the ability to get
knowledge, to improve the quality of the knowledge, and to
use the knowledge to its greatest advantage.
- This MSc was designed and developed and is taught by people
who do research in this area.
- We do this because there is a lot of money to be made in this area.
Another way of putting it is its really useful for society if
we improve our ability to manage knowledge.
- There are two ways to do this
- Make systems (not necessarily computational) that improve the
ability of people to work together to share and use knowledge.
- Build computational systems that improve the use of knowledge and
the ability to gain knowledge.
